Nice trick trying to overtake me in the thread but I'm on to your game!

Actually, all you do is left click on the reply number from the threads menu and then you copy and paste from the pop up box. Wait. Did you think I went back and counted?

Yeah, I noticed that. I think he's in some sort of "In Time Out" limbo. I haven't checked in a while. He was entertaining in this thread but some here thought he may have been ... ah...embellishing his findings.

BTW... regarding my haunting of the local pawn shops for Ray Bans, yesterday, I found a pair of Bausch and Lomb aviator style with glass lenses and the gold frames in minty condition WITH a case. The case said they were Ray Ban drivers but a quick google doesn't yield anything definitive. The style number was too small for my old eyes to read but the shape and more importantly the SIZE looked like the ones this guy is wearing.

Too large? They were $70 which is outside of my $40 limit but they were the real deal.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the M2's at all, but I have a couple pairs (one which are bullard) in 35 waist that I thrifted, and the cut is really large. I have really big thighs/calves too, and I had to have both pairs tapered from mid thigh so as to not feel like I'm wearing a dress.

How come I'm not surprised I'm in the top 10. That said I'll never catch the guys above me and a couple guys below post regularly, so I'll be posting crappy ties to keep my post count up :slayer:

I'm a big fan of the M2 & the M2P's. I have only ever found one pair thrift/consigment that fit me. My other have been acquired on sale or during the Bill's Trunk Sale at my local mens store.

I've been quietly following this thread for a while; very entertaining. Quick question-- how much of a pain is it to sell something on B&S or ebay? I've been finding some nice items that are just out of my size range, and it kills me to leave them. Yesterday, I found a beautiful Hickey Freeman Madison style navy sports coat (90wool/10cashmere) in a 39R. I left it b/c the line wasn't moving and I'm not set up on Ebay...but that had to be worth something right?

Sierra had some good sales on Bills M2 in larger waists (38+) recently, around $45 or so with all the coupons. Might still be going on.

Dig...Just say No. I used to have the RB Outdoorsman that I lost. I wanted to get another pair and my wife said they made me look like a cop. I settled on precription version of these:

I also think the Oakley Frogskins that have been re-introduced are cool. Those were big in the late '80's when I was in college.
