The Prada is a skinny one. Thanks to the all-but-unreadable black-on-black label Prada uses, the clerk didn't see anything special about the tie and charged me the standard $2.

i think he means "around my geographical area" not "around this horrible, pathetic excuse for a thrift bragging thread."

SA around here will, occasionally, charge $3, but all ties are otherwise $1.19, regardless of maker. I suppose I'm lucky...

Around here means upstate(spartanburg) south carolina. I'm totally not used to finding anything here.

Ummm.... If you find Kiton you are not in a bad place to thrift AT ALL. I've never seen any in a thrift store here.

That's a picture of the paisley label... searching the internet for that doesn't really get much. Anybody have a clue?

Congratulations, you're a lucky man! I’ve always wanted a leather Alpha. I can’t speak highly enough of Tumi! I have one of those bags in nylon (also thrifted) that seems impenetrable. No matter what I do to it, it keeps looking brand new (and I travel a lot). I actually just picked up one of these at a thrift store this weekend too.

If you ever have a problem their customer service is very good. I bought an alpha roll aboard with a broken handle a couple months ago and took it to my local Tumi store expecting to pay something to have it fixed. The manager took my bag and phone number, told me she’d call me in about a week when it was fixed. Instead, she called me a few hours later to tell me it was ready. Tumi replaced and installed the entire pop up handle assembly for free.

42L Kiton - Guanaco blazer... tried this on last week - feels like a million bucks and looked in perfect shape on quick inspection - too bad I'm a 40R... I'm on this shop's email list - got an email today (pic and listing below) - jacket goes on sale Saturday. Can try to pick it up if anyone's interested

We've saved the best for last this week.  This navy blue blazer is gorgeous to look at, but even more luxurious to the touch.  Made of rare 100% Guanaco (a step up from llama), this custom tailored jacket feels even better than cashmere!  Designed by Kiton and made for Barney's New York, this is at the pinnacle of Men's fashion.

    Size:  42 Long

    $125.00
