1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

^Looks great! That's a fantastic shirt. I wish I would find one (well, some) in my size.

I am not really sure if these are any good. I thought cashmere must always be good. And linen-cotton blend shirt might be good for impending warm weather. Too bad I am more of a medium.

    [IMG][IMG]

EDIT: Actually, the cashmere sweater fits me fine so I'll keep that. Gitman is definitely too big in the body. If no one wants it, I might just take the buttons.

This happened to me in 3 months during a 5 month timeframe. I was restricted from selling any item of "desired" brands. This included Armani, Hugo Boss, Gucci, Lacoste, Polo RL, and all sorts of other designers. For some reason I could still sell brands like Brioni, Zegna, Kiton, Canali, etc. Anyways, I have no idea why it kept happening to me, but I built up massive amounts of inventory because of it. Literally 3 months I couldn't sell that stuff... such a pain in the ass.

I tried calling ebay a few times to figure out what the deal was, since I never had feedback issues. Ebay was completely useless in the issue. Oh yeah, and this happened even after I became a top rated seller.

Made in Italy BB cord jacket in LP cotton.

... but what's up with the amateurish look of the tag?

Next up is a Black cashmere BB in about the same size (I think):

And a Hickey Freeman suit. The fabric looks heavy, but it's not.

This thing fits more like a short than the tagged 41 R, so I might keep it. It looks pretty damn sweet in person.

Better pics if there's interest in any of this stuff. I'm still pissed about a PRL USA Gray suit that was missing its lower half.

Depending on condition and material, they'll go for $20-30.

There's a prominent poster on here who either has them on the bay now, or recently sold some, but I forgot who.

As DM7 said, regular ones will bring in $20-$30. If you find Limited Edition ones though (they feature prints and designs), you're looking at anywhere from $50-$200+.

can anyone date this HF suit? Was probably worth picking up for $12 right?

and this Charvet my size, and the color (sort of a greenish check) is much better in person, the sun and terrible camera do not do it justice:

The HF I just picked up has this tag. Inside, it says it was made in 95.

while we are on the subject .... what braces are worth picking up? I came across some really neat ones the other day with material anywhere from leather to paisley silk to tweed for the suspender part - all fittings were leather. most were unbranded but some had stamps and some had brooks brothers. worth picking?

EDIT: Reason I didnt pick in first place was because they all had ~8-10$ tag on them

Besides Trafalgar/Limited Edition, the only other one I know of is Thurston. http://www.albertthurston.com/categoryfast2.cfm?catid=12

I see BB braces all the time and usually pass as I almost never have the opportunity to wear them.

Of course, I'd keep my eyes peeled for the regular high-end names such as Hermes, Dunhill, Charvet, etc.

^^^ I've run into a similar kind of tag in a 2003 Italian made BB suit. There wasn't any other kind of maker's tag and I can't be sure who BB was using at the time. Weird?
