Wanting something is a trivial part of owning it. I think my first great timepiece is going to be an Omega moonphase, but even those are far beyond my level of scratch. I'm currently a Timex owner, whereas I bought a Universal Geneve for my girlfriend, heh.[IMG]

I used to have a few UG's from the 50's and 60's. 18K rose gold chronos. Awesome watches, I kind of wish I never sold them.

Bonus finds are the best. Usually I only find bonus used tissues, but leather gloves are much better.

    Some interesting stuff today:

Hickey Freeman made in Italy tassel loafers (size 11, fits more like a 10.5):

    This dandy Etro pocket square:

Rad cable knit sweater from Killiney Krafts, made in Ireland:

And this cool vintage-y chair which I happen to be sitting in right now:

One of these is definitely on the short list of watches I want to own...if you find another and want to give a significant discount to a SF brotha. [IMG]

Thanks! It's actually my size, though I don't really have any use for dressy stuff. I thought it was my least impressive find of the day!

This jacket is definitely not too gaudy. Just very very nice. It was marked up a bunch, but I made a snap judgement on the quality, and decided it was worth the risk for flipping. I'm in LA, so it originating in Beverly HIlls makes sense. The funny part though is that I find all of my best stuff in the bad parts of LA.

Nothing much special today. Unlike Nataku, I didn't brave the ice and snow yesterday. I did pick up some warm things today, though.

Carson's Harris Tweed Jacket - Does anyone happen to know around what time this would have been made? Just curious.

Found 2 recent zegna ties for 2.99 and a pair of black Bally loafers in my size for $4.99. Been looking for a pair of loafers for a while now, perfect fit too.

Got out today. Came away with a couple nice silk ties, but nothing else. I saw a Thomas Pink shirt. It was white, the collar looked great (unlike most shirts 'round these parts). Seemed like in perfect condition AND it was my size. I eagerly grabbed it off the rack, and then, to my horror, noticed the large (very large) yellow pit stains! I threw up in my mouth a little and put it back. Moral: Wear an undershirt, bros. It's the right thing to do.

Could prob get it clean... http://www.styleforum.net/t/4084/stain-removal-guide/0_50. Had a very old cheap Brooks Brothers 346 shirt which use to be white...turned into more of an off white over the years (havt worn it in years either). Tried this wash method the other day and the thing loons new again. The water after soaking it a day was yellowish though...
