Only ties today .... and a Raffi Christmas album (of course it's a joke, but I'll take a listen for .77)!

    Turnbull and Asser
Talbott (I passed up too many to count, so if there's an interest in classy Talbott ties, I can go back)
    An awesome handwoven Churchill
    A Scotland-made W. Bill golf tie
    Bert Pulitzer

I usually don't pick up ties, but these seemed very nice (esp. the first one), and I was in the mood.

BTW, I have several pairs of Allen Edmonds & Alden in my store in various sizes.

What size/type/condition on the Aldens/AEs? I'm sure there'd be interest here (myself included) in a proxy on some of them if you can provide details.

They were selling for $25, so I guess I could've doubled my money, but I didn't want to go to the trouble.

Pretty good couple of days for me. Picked up this NWT Zanella SC, color black, half canvassed. (who donates this stuff!?) Unfortunately, it is a 40S. I'd be interested in a trade for an italian made suit 41R or 42R with no shoulder padding or minimal padding.

    Also, this tie:

Also, got a fully canvassed HF for Nordstrom suit that fits me. No alterations! Even the pants length. No pix since I'm keeping it. Finally, got a Today's man (yep, Today's man) gold/blue/red tie that mesmerized me the past few times I've been at this thrift. It is made in italy so who knows it may be related to that kiton above.

Picked it up out of curiosity...

Would anyone be interested in a Canali for Barney's double breasted, peak lapel suit with pants? Size is 56R but fits more like a 44R. Looks pretty good as far as rips/tears/stains, but I didn't get a super thorough look.

I skipped on it for myself but if anyone's interested I can grab it for you guys (PM me). Sorry for the crappy phone pics, the black marks are from my lens.

Burstow Logsdail? It is listed in Richard Walker's The Savile Row Story; Leonard Logsdail was a partner. Whether the latter is still going under that name I do not know, but not many google hits so perhaps not. A pity if so as it incorporated quite a lot of history; Denman & Goddard of Savile Row & Eton, Carr, Son & Woor and Hicks & Son (which dated back to 1797). Looking at the Logsdail London website (http://logsdaillondon.com/ ). I would infer that it is a spin-off, or perhaps successor company offering ready to wear, made to measure and bespoke clothing; it lists Leonard Logsdail as "technical consultant". Hope that this helps.

I find Eton shirts really nice; some of the better shirts in their original price range. One of my favorite go-to shirts is Eton, nice thick soft cotton with real nice MOP buttons. I picked up a couple figuring I could flip them, but I found that the resale market is pretty weak for them.

As a follow up, what are everyone's favorite shirt brands? Not necessarily which flip the best, but which are the best made, best wearing, etc? I haven't really found a lot of super high-end shirts, so I'm curious.

I was dropping off some suits and pants at a local consignment store that weren't worthy of this site or eBay and came across this...

It's a Schott A-2 Naked Cowhide Leather Flight jacket in a size 48. It appears brand new and never worn, collar is removable (Thank God) as is the lining inside. The leather is very soft and feels amazing, Made in the USA, etc. This jacket retails for $565 :slayer:

I'm putting it up on eBay this week, should fetch $2-350

First off, I never knew Zanella was quality. I've seen a couple of pieces around here. I really need to learn even more Italian designers. Sometimes I can tell by feel, but there are so many Made in Italy things around here I try to be discerning.

Also, I've got the two 16.5/42 T&A's still available. I'll be returning them Friday if no one else is interested, and thanks for everyone who showed interest/bought the others, hope you enjoy them. Also would be willing to trade these for some shoes. Let me know.
