Hello. I love seeing what other people come up with at their local thrift stores. This is my first post on SF of something I found at a charity shop near where I live. I bought it yesterday for $2.00 and wore it to a late lunch with a friend today. Cheers! -M-

The jacket is indeed quite beautiful. It's a 40R, I'm most likely gonna keep it.

I posted this in a few threads already, but the Marshalls in Jersey Gardens has a whole size run of a RLPL chukka boot, called the Cliffton in a great burnished brown at $499.

If anybody would like a ventless Pal Zileri Sartoriale (as much handwork as Attolini imho) navy blue orphan that could very easily be converted to a blazer let me know. EU50R.

Pal Zileri Sartoriale is made to high standards. I can vouch for its quality. At 50EU not fitting me, but if there is consistency in the sartorial eyes here, someone in that size should jump on it if it goes for a pinch.

Anything good in the last 500 posts? Between finally being employed, my long commute, and going to the gym, I can't keep up with this thread anymore (or thrifting for that matter). I wish there was some kind of "best of The official thrift/discount store bragging thread" every week.

I was able to get out this weekend and found three (recent?) Oxxford suits, all navy 44R in various pinstripe configurations. No pants. Naturally. I have the day off tomorrow so I'll think I'll get another circuit in to see if the pants materialized.

Until you mentioned all of the pants were missing this post was rather amusing. :D

Maus & Hoffman is a high-end men's shop in Miami. The quality should be good.

    Is there interest in these?

The crockett boots are an 8.5 D, I think, but they fit me fine (9.5D in AE strands). The florsheim imperials also fit me.
More info to come if there's interest: http://www.flickr.com/photos/71716117@N07/6709496269/in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/71716117@N07/6709499411/in/photostream

Also, are Zanella italy SCs worth anything?

What about this guy? http://www.flickr.com/photos/71716117@N07/6709483483/in/photostream Amies of London for Barrons.

Sorry for the crappy phone pics. I think I had a good day (this plus Facconable white French Cuff and a vintage Abercrombie shirt), but I've been wrong about what I've classified a "haul" before.

    Depends on the pattern/size/details. Pictures?

I think they are fully canvassed.

Are these items worth picking up at these prices?

Those are pretty amazing prices for the Cornliani and the Cuccinelli, particularly if they are non-outrageous patterns and sizes.

I'd say it looks a little big overall, but nothing terrible. I don't prefer especially tight jackets. The arms are the first thing I noticed, though.

Note: I'm assuming that's outerwear, and not a funky type of SC, etc.
