Haven't been up on this thread for a few weeks or been out thrifting in the same amount of time but made two stops today and only came away with one thing but it was a good one:

I appreciate your optimism. Would it say "mohair" on the tags? I'm a total noob. So excuse my ignorance.

I was being a bit silly; it would indeed say mohair on the fabric contents tag, if there is one. Mohair hasn't been terribly fashionable for several decades.

^^ $12.50 for a $300+ retail shirt is pretty good in my opinion!

    Maus & Hoffman....made in Italy...tie? Is this a no-name brand?

More ties: a great Ferragamo (blue with little alternating seashells/ snail shells), a T&A fun tie, and a couple Hermes (just sitting there, label out, tons of people swishing by :wow: ).

(Incredibly boring w/o pics, I guess).

@cosbysweater: I will limit the TV talk, but still I gotta say I feel the same way about Skins. Glad I gave it a chance. :slayer:

@ChetBakerSings: nice grab on the book, so jelly.

Astounding. Not just a Billykirk piece, but a rare collaborative one in perfect condition. Who donates shit like this?!?!!? I have a hard time donating my busted jeans that I've wrung the life out of, let alone something I paid north of $300 for and apparently never used.
