you got great deals on your ties
Thank you sir, you are always a gentleman and a scholar. I thought you guys knew something I didn't. Possibly that Hermes ties have become obsolete and I should no longer purchase them for $3.
Now I understand why Ich_Dien treats Marks & Spencer like someone was bragging about finding a fresh turd. Were these thrifted?
i would post here but most of my finds are discount store purchases, and everyone here poasts mostly about thrift stores, but i have stuff that ive bought that rank up there with the alltimers
Post them! Hell, some people post really good ebay finds on here as well, which I don't mind at all.
Not to keep entering my opinion here, but I would be interested to see what you've purchased. I walked into SYMS the other day and I could have walked out with a ton of things that would have made me extremely happy, but unfortunately, I am a little light on the pockets due to the Holidays. A lot of the merchandise was tagged for Barney's New York, which I was relatively confused about, but I didn't ask questions.
I'm in favor of seeing discount store and ebay finds as well. I know I've found items at discount stores or other places that were like 90% off and definitely bragworthy. Just because it isn't a Savile Row suit for $5 doesn't mean it isn't notable.
And as an aside, how on fire is this thread right now? Some of these finds are blowing my brain box. NIB RLPL? Multiple Attolinis? Fleets of Oxxford, Brioni and Kiton? We have to remember this next summer when the pickings are truly slim.
ok a recent buy was actually not a thrift store, or a discount store, i got a hermes leather jacket 3 hermes belts 2 cashmere scarves only worn maybe once, for a grand total of 900
Picked up the Henry Poole - on 25% off day no less!! Looking at it closely, it's amazing what good condition the jacket is in despite being over 20 years old. The pants are pretty worn on the inside lining and the cuffs, but no tears, rips, or material thinning which is the most important stuff. I guess there really is something to say about quality construction and materials. Will take pics tonight. Also pulled the trigger on the AE monkstraps (again, 25% off day, so what the hell) and got Hickey and Lacoste shirts. Will post pics of all tonight.
Yesterday was BB day for me, everything was mint / like new except the AE's. Nothing compared to whats been posted lately.

Is Pendleton stuff worth picking up I have seen it mentioned here a few times?
Don't sell yourself short. There's a lot of awesome in that pile.
Personally, I'm a big fan of Pendleton products. I love the wool for winter, and they usually have some very traditional shirt patterns and colors. Like I said the other day, I just picked up a scarf, and I love it. As with anything, though, I wouldn't grab it if you see the wool starting to fade in places.
I like pendleton stuff.
What do you mean by a discount store? Like a Marshalls?
Same here. Love my red wool plaid Pendleton driving cap
