I just created an account too. Maybe all us SF guys should start using this to save us some money.

It's actually BS eBay requires you to use Pay Pal since they own it. You pay the listing/selling fee then get it on the back end when you get paid.

Also going to check this out. It really is a shame ebay has taken the route is has, but monopolies usually end up trying to screw someone.

Had a pretty good day today. I've been trying to cut back a lot, since this whole "no job" thing is starting to wear on my funds. But, I broke my rule (i.e. only looking for a 2B navy suit) for a pair of desperately needed shoe trees and someone's robert talbott/bb bowtie collection.

Passed up a perfect Polo University Club dark brown or charcoal (sorry, colorblind) wool herringbone topcoat. Probably a 42R (I'm a 40, and it fit big). If it helps, I'm 5'5" and it was basically at my ankles. Had the made in US union tags and everything. I really wish it had fit!

Nothing but staple dress shirts this week.

L-R , Paul Stuart 17-34, BB Slim Fit French Cuff 16-35, Talbott L, Paul Stuart 17-34, HF 16-35, BB Irish Linen L, BB 15-34/35, HF 16-35, Zegna L

Found a donation of six recent HF suit jackets that were just put out without pants, hoping to go back today to find the pants. This store is notorious for seperating suits.

You don't have to use paypal. I recently had to use moneybookers to complete a transaction.

Not much around the last couple days... Picked up a few ties, but nothing great. Left behind a Burberry Prorsum peak lapel suit because it was priced at $30 and it was the old "Burberrys" tag.

Is it worth picking up a casual Faconnable shirt to flip? Didn't seem like it would make more than $10-15 at most.

I did pick up one of these for my daughter for Christmas though:

In good shape... Should be fun when the snow starts falling.

I have an interested buyer already, but if it falls through, I'll make a thread in B&S.

It is listed under fraud, as far as I can tell. I just checked the dispute on paypal. Is it strange that nothing was filed on eBay and he left me positive feedback, but paypal is letting him file a dispute? I also think that it is rather fishy if this is credit card fraud because it has been a extremely long since the purchase was made.

Thanks for your response, that is a fantastic idea. I don't sell as much as I used to but when I do, I will probably start using this.

Ive flipped a few but only If I get them for a buck or so, $10-15 is about right from my experience.

Awesome! It's really good to hear that there are still some good-hearted people on eBay.

Haha, nope! Sold my GTI. I'm keeping this for my daily driver. It's roomy, super comfortable, has decent power and is pretty good on gas considering it's a 4.6 L V8.

Deets on the pickup? Looks real nice - I love the two tone paint!

I'd actually want to mention them. It'd avoid most scammers from bidding in the first place, wouldn't it?
