1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Today was the day for outerwear. Schott USA leather jacket in a 40, Made in England Aquascutum raincoat and a Barbour quilted jacket.
Also 4 Finamore shirts. One NWT one, NWOT in 18.5. One clean in a 15 3/4 and one in 14.5.
And to prove persistance pays off about a year ago I bought a pair of MII PRL suit pants in my size. What did I find today at a different store? The matching jacket! :slayer:
A few other notables, some Derek Rose boxers NIP and a Cuccinelli shirt. Seriously, I think I need to be in some sort of support group.

I only found a few things but they were pretty quality items. Unfortunately nothing in my size.

-A beautiful BB overcoat, 100% wool, with a little bit of vintage but still in great shape
-Gieves & Hawkes Navy Double Breasted Blazer with Brass buttons
-2 Custom shirts for Boyds Philadelphia

    Pictures to come.

LOTZ of interest on the mannequins, but perpetual thread stalker brianpore and somewhat of a dark horse GMMcl were first to the PM punch at 1 and 2 minutes after my post. Thanks for playing, tip your servers on the way out.

There are a few FEMALE mannequins left if any of you that PMed are willing to do mannequin surgery. Let me know in a follow up PM on those.

there's a vintage Burberry for Carroll & Co. (high end men's store in beverly hills) trench at one of my local spots, it's GORGEOUS and has a beautiful zip in wool liner. much nicer than any other burberry trench i've seen. my size too. only problem is the sleeves go up to about the middle of my forearm. :brick:

I think you already are. And you can level with us about the boxers: They weren't really NIP, were they?

Oh...reminder, as I watch the coat posts add up here: Watch for those end of season dollar- and halfprice- coat sales as thrifts get bloated with them and want to clear out for the spring/summer stock. You guys will be posting some insane, jealousy-inducing finds over the next 6 weeks. Downside: THey will have to go on ice until October, heh

Surely that would mean no more pics of whom I can only assume is Mrs. Spoo in some of your listings. I can only assume the number of views to your listings are going to take a serious hit.:D

In semi-related matters, I thrifted an orbital sander today.

So, I found a YSL Rive Gauche DB suit. It seems nice. It seems like it will fit well with some alterations. I'm still learning to identify quality and bought this not knowing anything about Rive Gauche at all. I more use labels to tell me when to leave things on the rack. So, do I have a one in a bajillion find?
