I came across these really old (60s or earlier), but overall nice condition outdoors shirts today. One was by Brooks Brothers, the other by Abercrombie. The Brooks looked mint condition at first look, but when I looked closer there were small white spots on the fabric, which almost looked like wax drops, and I thought I could possibly remove them in a washing machine. The Abercrombie had a small stain as well that I thought I could possibly get out in the wash. Should I have picked these up (sorry for cell phone pics)?

Edit: Should have googled them before posting, but I just saw the same abercrombie sold on ebay for $150. I'll be going back tomorrow right now

Why can't I find high end stuff that I want to keep?

Just for the record the "savers" near me has started to mark up stuff with any kind of recognizable brand name. I even saw a BB tie that was marked for $6.99, which is unheard of there.

That's pretty common for Savers around here, I've pretty much stopped going to them even though I did find a Filson guide sweater previously posted there a few weeks back for $9.

Made a couple stops today and came home with this Double RL coat, which is in pretty new condition with the pockets still sewn shut. Anyone have any ideas when this might be from or anything? It's made of mostly rayon which almost stopped me from buying it but these are in demand somewhere right?

Double R stuff is always desirable, it is a good RL sub - label. Buy it.

I quickly went into a thrift store (forgot to bring cash). Saw a white Giorgio Armani 100% cotton dress shirt, cashmere grey Banan Republic sweater, 2 brooks brothers ties. So pissed I didnt bring cash and it was right before closing.

Is the designer "Courchevel" worth getting? There was a dark blue, 100% egyptian cotton shirt. Very nice.

Were these actually thrift store finds, or consignment store/used men's store finds? How much did you pay for that stuff?
