Whoa, thanks for the heads up! Just watched the first episode online. Hilarious as always! The animation sure has improved over the past 15 years!

Found like 5 charvet bespoke shirts... all 3 years old, all had beat to hell cuffs, wtf? Guess that fabric wasn't so tough, just expensive. Such a bummer.

RE: anybody who has PM'd me about trading stuff, I have read your PM and am going to try to have a spreadsheet put together w/ some pics in a week or two. Thanks for all the interest!

If they still have style. Don't forget there is a market for vintage.

    From yesterday:

Nordstrom shoes with plenty of wear left in them, size 11M. Spent 1 hour polishing and cleaning them, will need to do more obviously...

    Lands End tie
    [IMG]

NWOT Trafalgar (honey leather) brown belt, size 44

Keeping the shoes, will probably sell tie on ebay and definately the belt as well, as it is a little too big for me...

Man, I thought I'd had some pretty nice outerwear finds lately... but that Barbour is something else. I don't think I've ever seen any Barbour outerwear, just the occasional shirt. I suppose they last too long to be common finds!

I still think it's amusing how csoukoulis finds the bomb outerwear... actually, two of my traded-for Oxxfords came from Texas originally as well. I think there's nice stuff up here in cold climates, but people are much more reluctant to donate it because they figure "of course it'll get used someday - it's not like winter will stop being cold!" That, and up here there are coat drives like crazy. Locally there's one supported by a very large, very rich, very prominent family, even. I have to wonder how many homeless guys or Salvation Army clients are wandering around in cashmere overcoats or nigh-bulletproof Barbours from a coat drive.

Speaking of coat drives: that's actually one way I'm putting this "hobby" to good use. This winter I'm helping out with our church's coat drive. The plan is that if we get any donations worth selling we can sell those on Ebay and use the money to go to a thrift and pick up even more coats that will actually be useful. I have my doubts that anything will show up worth the time to list, but if anything does we'll have helped more people than we would have otherwise. To be clear: I will not be skimming off the top. ;)
