That's incredible shape if it's a first edition.

I vote keep until economy is better then sell. Your grandkids probably wouldn't appreciate it.

Hey guys I finally got around to taking a pic of the book, its not with my good camera but still its a pic.

Again, that's an insane find! [IMG]

Someone must have cleaned out Grandma's house and dumped the books from her bookshelf into a GW box without even thinking twice. [IMG]

As for me, just one thing found today, but that's ok. This is quite possibly the nicest and most beautiful tie I've found thus far.

I've found some cool coats lately too which is weird for summer. Check out this awesome vintage loden jacket made for burberry:

But this is the best! MINT navy hickey freeman flight coat. You just don't see these, like ever. It survived 3 rounds of mark downs too, at a store I rarely make it to.

Found a bunch of shoes lately too but that's enough pics for now, kinda overloaded the thread.

Are you kidding? I have to force myself to NOT tell people how great thrift store clothing finds can be. I'm having the time of my life, sartorially speaking. I mentioned elsewhere today that I now own thousands of dollars (at retail) of clothing and haven't spent $300 yet. What a great country!

I couldn't agree more! Have bought thrift items for picky executive types in my own family, and was surprised one of them bragged about his $2 sport coat while on a major business trip with colleagues. I get an absolute thrill from looking great (IMHO) in the results of my treasure hunts, and usually don't spill the beans except to the like-minded.

Great find on the flight coat. It is in great condition considering it is probably 30+ years old.

Yeah... all from the same dude. All looks like it's been worn twice, with the dry cleaning tags still on them. I found it very weird, yet, awesome.
