Not sure if the reel to reel was Pioneer. Doesn't look as big as the RT-909. I guess I was too shocked by the price to even think to look at the model. The receiver was a Pioneer SX-1500 which seems to be worth about $30 tops. Here's the Oxxford Sportcoat I did pick up from that lot: [IMG] functional cuff buttons [IMG] [IMG]

Nice scores, especially the Brioni and Lochcarron!

Hit the GW that ilikethelights went to yesterday and saw the Oxxfords. Found the 8 or so he left behind. All were a bit too long for me, but I couldn't pass up an Oxxford tux for $14. Really cool. 1 btn front.

    Dying to see pics!

I found this painting at a flea market today. It is now on the wall in my office above my stereo.

Reminds me of a Scooby-Doo painting where the eyes follow you as you walk by.

Picked this up recently. Very clean. Im worried its just a left over and someone got an entire box of Blue Note [IMG] .

holy crap, now that's a score!

I highly doubt there was anything else besides the nichols though. i mean, who would leave THAT but pick up other stuff? i've occasionally found 1 amazing lp among a bunch of crap at garage sales...it just happens.

OK, Ill bite - I know nothing about records. Whats that worth?

I'd love that Zenga if you don't mind shipping to Canada. [IMG] What size are you? I might have something in your size. edit for content: Picked up some vinyl including a couple Queen records, the Beatles White Album, a couple Rolling Stones, Wang Chung (heh), Cat Stevens, etc. There was a lot that was too beat up to take, unfortunately. edit 2: After checking, you should give it to someone else. It's probably going to be too big for me in the shoulders.

discount store by me has a few nice Charvet striped grendine ties NWT for 20 dollars. They all have a pull or 2, but if ayone on here is intrested i can snag them if you kick me a little gas money to drive out there as its about a 50 mile round trip which is about 10 dollars in gas for me plus an hour of my time..

This Zegna jacket doesn't fit me but I picked it up in case a 42 on here wants it, at cost ($8 + shipping). If no one's interested I'll return it.

I'll take it if you don't ship to Canada/previous poster...

it depends on several things (like condition) but it's probably in the $200-$400 range

Just about any early "modern" jazz from the 50s-60s has value..some more than others. Early Blue Note's are considered some of the best recordings out there ever. But...original pressings are what the collectors want. Quite the find the Nichols record is as one of the harder to find Blue Notes out there.
