I like Mezlan. I found a pair of their sz 14 M blue loafers today.

You can right click > open in new tab.

It sucks to have to do it for each image, but it works.

Great to know. Now, it's going to take even longer to crawl through the thread...

I had some thrift store burnout for a few weeks, but went out today and got two ties: a raw silk Sulka, and a cashmere tie without a designer label.
    [IMG] [IMG]
The tag says it was $30 new. I'm not sure what to do with it, but it was cheap, and Jesse just did a post about how hip raw silk ties are now, so I got it. Is it worth anything?

    [IMG] [IMG]
I'm so focused on spring/summer that I almost passed over this, but I'm glad I didn't. It feels really nice, and I think I'll be happy about it in fall. The tag has no name, just says "a norma della legge", dated 26-11-1973. Anyone have a clue what it might be?

Also passed on a Paul Smith made-in-Hon Kong jacket, a handful of Linus jackets (pick stitching, fused), and an English made Leeford trench that looked nice, but had a bunch of stains. Again - any clues on whether they're worthwhile?

Hello all! I am back from Boot camp & AIT. It's great to be back to the real world. I am getting ready to clean out my closets, and I wanted to check and see if there is any interest in some items before I take them to the consignment store. I have a bunch of large suits. I need to move these relatively quickly.

Brooks Brothers Madison 48/43 fine navy pinstripe pants approx 36:34 pleated, cuffed
Brooks Brothers blue plaid 43reg 38 unhemmed pleated pant - tags still attached

    I wish these fit me...

4 Oxxford double breasted suits - all are in the range of 44-46 chest, pants approx 36:34 pleated, cuffed

    2 wide navy pinstripes
    2 winter wool stripes
1 dark gray 3 piece winter single breasted

They are all immaculate, no shine, or any other flaws I can find.

I also have some larger Oxxford winter sportcoats. If anyone is interested in any of these, let me know and I can get more specific details.

LOL I had the same exact thing happen a few days ago, never got around to posting the pic, so here it is. Nevermind that the label is in the wrong spot entirely, you see that red dot and... [IMG]

Hi, picked up a couple of things over the last week. One I have a question about:

Picked up NWOT Sky Blue Polo Ralph lauren silk and linen pants yesterday in my waist size (32). Great fit at the waist. I really like the material, I think it would be fun to make the color work. They're flat front, which I prefer, and they have a hidden pocket at the waist band, which I really like on my pants that have it.
    [IMG] [IMG]
Now the problem. They put the full back in full cut. I didn't have a tape handy, but they have to be 12" at the knee. I'd need to hem them anyway (being new, they're just basted, and basted to about 38+), should I wear them baggy, try to slim them (and how much could they really be slimmed?) or give up on them and try to sell them? I'm inclined to try to slim them, but I think they'd need to come in to about 10" across at the knee, and wonder if that much is actually possible, or would look good.

While I'm at it, some of you would have already seen, but I picked up a pair of A E Brantley boots in 8.5 E last week. Unworn display models. I'll list them for sale soon, maybe this afternoon if I get them and some new pics ready.

Also passed on some similar condition A E Enfields. I wasn't as sure of their demand level, so I left them on the shelf.

Been slim pickin's for my own sizes lately!

I've got a last minute trip into Atlanta this week if anyone knows of some decent spots I'd appreciate a PM and would gladly give up some of my spots in CT if anyone needs it.

Found and absolutely incredible Blue checked HS&M Gold Trumpeter sport coat in Loro Piana 100% Worsted Cashmere today. Probably the softest fabric I've found on a SC.

Only problem is it's 52R (US) and has some slight wear around the collar.

I know there's a few guys on here that the size may work for so if anyone's interested I'd be happy to head over and pick it up.
