1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I see that brand from time to time and I pass on in. Qualiity wise it seems like one of the brands out the made to sound expensive and it really isn't. If you like the looks of the jacket and it fits you all the better.

Great find on the FIlson...I've never found anything by them.

Every thread on SF gets derailed, I highly doubt the conversation would have continued regardless.

I love this thread! Since the switchover to the new forum, this is actually the only thread I read daily. With that being said, +1 major time for MattR. Can't wait to get my first Hickey Freeman suit (and it looks like all the pant stains are going to come out). Thanks again for going back and picking it up!!!

Found a cool pair of great condition Billy Reid penny loafers...in my size for $4 sweet. Also a Loro Piana very light gray button up shirt and finally found a Harris Tweed in my size, every one I seem to find is either 48 or 36 for some reason. Oh and a very cool pretty recent Burberry multi color sport coat. I travel a lot and had been looking for a jacket that goes with about everything....score.

Nice pickup on the Loro Piana Shirt. Have seen a few of those (never in my size 14.5) but they are really nice shirts! Finding a lot of 36 Harris Tweeds!? Any 36S? [IMG]

Below (instead of replying in a new thread) - Yes I know it is hard, but he finds a lot of 36 he said so figured I'd ask :) I can never find 36 anything.

Here are pics of the Huntsman tweed I found last week. The colors are brown and white with a mint colored check.

    Not packing here either.

Anyway, found this "christian knaust" shirt. Hadn't heard of it, but I figured that with it being 100% silk and from Needless Markups, it would be worth something.

Passed on a couple of zanella pants because they were too pleatalicious. One may have had more than 3 :bounce2:. Maybe post thanksgiving they'll be some people donating since they can't fit into their clothes.

Don't worry Spoo...my wife is the one who packs heat in my family. I think we have a 38 and some type of shotgun.

Picked up a 2006 Zegna in mint condition and left behind 3 somewhat older ones. The one I picked is a two button and the ones I left were three button and one a two button with no vents. I'd be willing to proxy the ones I left behind and the one I picked will be going on B&S if it doesn't fit my son. They were EU 54 R.

Quick pics of the Montblanc links, sorry for the low-light. I don't wear cufflinks often, so these will probably be for sale/trade.

Me either, although I've been doing martial arts for several years. Still okay?

I picked up a Hickey Freeman and Sons and a Brooks Brothers 346 suit today in the 15 minutes before this one place I go was closing... I was picking them up for a friend after I'd seen them there a couple weeks ago (nobody goes to this one, it's pretty much a hidden gem) and knew he was having a hard time finding size 37. Unfortunately in my haste I didn't have time to look over the BB and it has moth holes [IMG]

I may see if they'll let me trade it out, or I'll have to eat the $10. Oh well.

Not sure if he's interested in the grey pinstripe HF&Son as he was really most interested in the brown glen plaid BB, so it may be available if anyone's interested.
