Do we have a thriftmas gifts thread yet or is it still too early? I remember last year some eager chaps got theirs out quickly (TWSS).

I’m getting there with my thriftmas box but still want to find a couple more things.

I was wondering that too; I'm sending mine out this week before I head out for a non-thrifting trip to LA.

I think I’ve found the look for my next black tie event... This is a pic of Yvon Chouinard from the Spring 1986 Patagonia catalog.

And here's what I was researching when I found that pic. I posted these pants when I found them 10 days ago, but here they are again in all their glory. These are new old stock Spring 1987 model 'Do Gi Pants', which were billed as the ultimate climbing pants. They have an incredibly similar vibe to the original Gramicci pants, but in a bold gold color.

Not sure how great of a deal these were at $10 each but new in box and I thought the smell was pretty good.

Incredible finds! Whats the Malle? I always keep my eyes open for Diptyque stuff at thrifts because we have a lot of points of sale here. Nothing yet but did buy some Le Labo travel sets the other week.

Some finds from the past week. The Barbour Newmarket has been claimed by the wife. The shoes are vintage J&M. Both are shell; the short wings are labeled J&M, the PTBs are labeled Frank Brothers but probably made for FB by J&M.

More terribly lit phone photos. Hope y’all don’t mind.

One from last week. If one of you guys grabbed a pair of Jacob Cohen jeans in the east end of Ottawa last Thursday send me a PM. Want to put a name to the face!

Braved half-off day for some decent fodder and personals.

Jack Victor for a local shop. Chocolate brown with blue windowpane LP fabric and fits me like a glove. Don’t wear tailoring often but at least I’ll be ready for my next summer wedding now.

Recent Boss suit. Wouldn’t have normally copped but worth it on half off day.

Finally got around to putting new batteries in these after a couple years...actually forgot I had them. His and hers thrifted G-Shocks. Mrs. Jackstraw’s is the International Dolphin & Whale Conference edition. Still on the lookout for a Frogman.
