I didn't know this brand, but it was super soft leather. Stains throughout, but it was cheap enough.

I don't find a lot of BB, but this is neat, though it's missing a few pairs.

Found this in a jacket I bought. Seinfeld fans will appreciate it: Fisher Space Pen.

A few scarves that someone unfortunately removed the labels.

Both certainly Burberry and cashmere:

DAKS cashmere:

fullsizeoutput_121b2.jpeg

No idea, but found with the others. It's super soft, so my thought is cashmere and the burn test supports it. It's also really dense and somewhat wavy. Any theories on material? It's pretty crisp, doesn't really seem worn and has the "new scarf" fold lines.

Found without tags at an entirely different location. Felt like cashmere and thought I'd remembered it from Zegna. Checks out!

Versace Rx, Oakley Hijinx, and Oakley Titanium Ice Penny.

Really '90s looking bottle, but smells absolutely wonderful.

Weirdly, no-one at the yard sale knew what this fitty cent "Made in England" thingy was . . . Certainly one of the cooler ones I've seen.

Identified these hangers from the far end of the store . . .

99¢ each? Sure, but where are the freaking CLOTHES!

Had to turn the whole damn store upside down, but nuthin'. Guessing they just turned in the oversized hangers. Frankly, I'm guessing most of you have done what I did in my early thrifting days, and accumulated dozens of brand-matching premium hangers for all your grail finds, before realizing that in thrift world, our closets get so jammed up there's just no room to use 'em. I have a huge box of them going to Capn' Wes. But, of course, I still bought these anyway . . .

And finally, for the car guys, this item just got consigned in on a flatbed. 469hp. What a beast.

Me: "Yes sir, happy to sell it for you, but, ya know, my backlog, mumble mumble, might take a month or two or more, er, mumble".
"Sure, no problem".
Me: ":slayer:"

Modification of "LIVE!" usually used when uploading from the store. These were taken in the parking lot, but I didn't get to post until later.

Isn't that shiny tag almost always Caruso?

NWT Lanvin are definitely Caruso, I was referring to the Zegna shirt being the current label.

I've got some Piver - brought new but at a below-the-radar <10% of retail thrift-approved discount. It's good stuff.

No Thriftmas yet for my secret santa - everyone seems to have jacked up prices to obscene levels.

In fact a funny story from today. I went into a kilo-sale place, big posters up with ~$25/ kilo. I found an interesting Woolrich Mackinaw for personals, and took it to the cashier. She said "oh, this has an orange tag - that's ~$60/ kilo and weighed it up for $150. Funny enough my interest dissipated!
