Heavier than I expected, haha. It is quite substantial. I am still researching it but so far I know it’s a win as it has the original tuners that are highly sought after and near impossible to find. Some minor dings but nothing drastic.

Sadly I don’t play, but an employee does and when he saw it he got more excited than usual and asked if he could play around with it before I got rid of it.

Any guitar experts care to weigh in on how/why it has different controls/switches? Comparing to others online it seems like they all randomly have different arrangements of knobs. All custom made? There doesn’t appear to be a standard layout... so as a novice I don’t know if my setup is more desirable or not.

The model is an ST824. Ibanez made a lot of basses that had similar aesthetics, but different details. The switches control the funtion of the pickups. They were/are very versatile instruments. Great find.

I hope you can flip it. Just be aware there is no seatpost collar fitted (e.g. you cannot secure the seatpost at a given height).

I’m studying for a GIAC cert so I didn’t get out much the last week, but I had good timing when I did!

Reheeled V cleat, uppers are in flawless condition, not sure of the date, HB = 61,71,81,91,01.... but triple soles and no MIUSA makes me think 61 or 71

In the field and don’t normally buy suits (and therefore know very little besides desirable brands) but decided to look today after seeing Golden Fleece at this store last week... worth me copping?

If it’s for personal, looks good on you, you like it etc yeah TJ is a good buy, some of it is pretty well made.
