Ye it’s recentNever seen this Zegna label before, seems super recent. LBM was on the clearance rack for $2.
Have you already sold or promised to sell all the goods or will you keep it all for yourself? The reason I wonder is because you always post cool finds but it always seems that they are unavailable at the time.
Actually, most of what I post is available (or will be). I run into a time deficit problem every day/week, so I take some quick photos to post and then put it into inventory and the stuff goes on the waiting list to be shot/measured. Once it pops up on my shoot-list, it will make it to eBay/my website. I don't like to be spammy with things, so I don't mention that it will be posted online soon on every post. SF members get 20% off any purchase. Shipping prices are as cheap as I can make them.
I'm less interested in trades these days because I'm simply stretched for time on everything, and that seems to be what most people want. I still try to reply to most PMs that I receive and provide measurements and additional photos whenever I can. Maybe it's just me, but once I send measurements and photos, there's a 90% chance I'll get ghosted when price/shipping discussions become involved. Having said that, I still feel terrible that I ghosted someone in the spring about some sunglasses. It's still on my to-do list every single day to apologize for that!
Anyway, that's the long explanation of what I do. Tl;dr version: I run out of time to reply to messages and don't want to be rude so say it's unavailable for now. Most stuff will hit the website with measurements, photos (warts and all), and prices.
There should be a code in the shoe reading '8287'. But like you said you can tell by looking at them that they are shell.Picked up these gorgeous Allen Edmonds Bench Welt Graysons 13E. It looks like shell, shines like shell, but is not marked with the usual "Genuine Shell Cordovan." Is it shell?

Bread I baked yesterday afternoon. Organic bread is a whole lot more thrifty if you do it yourself...
