Yeah I'm still thinking about that shirt. Though I was joking about the curry. It looks like old stains that have been tried to be cleaned before and they failed. In my experience those either don't fully come out, or they take hours and hours of scrubbing and treatment.

Other stuff from today:

80519-7.JPG

First time finding non-shirt AG. Nice and durable for $5.

80519-8.JPG
80519-9.JPG

I've seen Stand-Up items before, but this was my first time buying some. Recent SP16 model in El Cap Khaki. $8

80519-26.JPG
80519-27.JPG

This unidentified Lulu is crispy new, but I can't tell if it's Mens or Womens. $7

80519.JPG
80519-2.JPG

Rag & Bone Standard Issue Polo. They knew what it was at $15, but that's still fair.

80519-4.JPG
80519-5.JPG

Handsome and clean condition AE Split Toes in Chili Brown. $13.

80519-12.JPG
80519-13.JPG

This older Polo Bear Pillowcase was cool. Has a small rip so I can either repair and use, or use the material for a project. $0.99.

Anyone know what age RL label this is?

Score of the day is this pair of Lulu Joggers. I think either the Intent or City Sweat model but the Wool content is throwing me off. Also my first time seeing the Lulu Black label. $10

Hey guys, Moo here. Hope everyone's been well. Something is up with my account and it's taking powers of SF forever to fix it, so I've resorted to making a new account.

Here's some highlights from the last couple of months. Everything is either thrift or e-thrift, and many items are 1-2% of retail. No consignments, and I don't pick up any fodder.

It's been awhile since I've checked in. I'm still alive. Haha. Just been super busy with projects around the house, kids and honestly I haven't found anything even remotely decent in months. Until today. I'll get to that in a bit. A big project this summer (besides kid's birthday parties and my mother-in-law flying in for a visit) was finishing our basement. Also, a major task was finding homes for a lot of the crap I had somehow accumulated over the mere 6 years we have lived here in which the basement was the storage for. About 75% of it was sold off or donated. Now it's done. Things are getting back to normal.

First off, I figured I'd show off my little hideaway room which I have been slowly piecing together for the past couple months. It is outfitted almost entirely with thrifted/free/salvaged furniture and objects that my wife doesn't really care to have displayed elsewhere in the house....

My father said the chair was from my great grandparent's cabin and is probably from the 1880's-1890's. It's been in my parent's crawlspace since the early 90's when they sold the cabin. I vaguely remembered it being down there and hoped it was still there. It was. It was musty and grimy, but it cleaned up pretty well. I wrote my name on it at some point, and there's gum from previous generations underneath the seat. Lots of character. Haha.

Found this blueprint for a cam housing for a WWII Mark 12 5" 38 cal AA deck gun in the trash a number of years back, along with a lot of other cool old papers. Finally got it framed.

This was in that same box of old papers. Got it framed as well.

Desk was $20 at the local Goodwill. I believe it's a turn of the (last) century writing school desk. It's a double desk with a double flap top/lid. No ink wells or signs that a bench was mounted on the front, like most school desks. Also, it's height is suited for a normal sized adult and not a child. I suppose it's original purpose will remain a mystery, but it's cool nonetheless.

IMG_6113.JPG

The bookcase is likely of similar vintage. 1900's-1930's? Found it for stupid cheap. I think $6 or $8.

IMG_0826.JPG

Cleaned up well.

Onto today's find. Long story short, I got permission to pick through a dumpster outside a house I randomly drove by. All free and saved from the landfill. No idea if any of the electronics work, but the stuff is still worth money for parts/repair. Some cool MCM furniture pieces that were smashed up to fit in the dumpster and a killer pair of speakers sitting at the bottom in 2-3" deep water from storms that rolled through yesterday. :(

Thankfully the electronics were inside the garage still...

First thing I pulled out were these. Was hoping for a jacket, but whatever, I'll take it.

Some old WWII-era military canvas duffles, old canvas hunting jackets and a few other randoms that aren't pictured.

So what kind of nutty things can you do with that pillowcase? I saw that someone makes bucket hats (or sews them on) and those are pretty cool. I think PLaydice made a shirt and shorts out of sheets(!).

I'm not sure I would have the bear print on the outside, that's a little too much for me. If I did use the fabric for something, it would most likely be the lining of a tote bag or etc.
