Braved torrential downpours and lightning storm to hit a few stores this evening. Many streets were flooded, traffic signals not working, all kinds of chaos. This goodwills entrance was basically a lake 10" deep:

Was rewarded for my bravery with:

Santoni Captoes for $7.

Reidel Stemless Crystal for $0.99 ea.

And lastly...

VTG Filson Red Mackinaw Cruiser for $15.

This was on a fresh rack, and over my arm immediately. I didn't even stop to look at condition or price.

All in all a good night.

In other news, I got to talking about flippy stuff with the counter woman, who found a pair of authentic NWT Gucci jeans at another location. She told me to ditch menswear and learn more about old team jerseys and whatnot as a friend of hers made $8,000 in about four months part time — “Even more than your horse butt shoes!”.

Any ideas who this is supposed to be? Took a gamble and bought this bust/sculpture for $3. Seems done by hand with artist name on back. Usually see this type of thing for composers, but not seeing a striking resemblance to any of the big names.
