Magnanni "Federico" Cap Toe.

Made in Spain.

They have stitches connecting the inner and outer soles, the leather is very malleable, but I am not impressed... should I be? These are going on eBay (same condition as mine) for about $45-90.

I prefer my Ferragamos whose authentication I have not yet been able to confirm.

Can someone please authenticate this guys ferragamos? It’s been brought about post after post on the authentication thread and now it’s here. Not trying to be rude just sick of reading about them every other day

I know there some chefs here. Is this LAGUIOLE or some Bed Bath and Beyond knockoff? I've seen this insect emblem before. Dunno, I liked the blue anyways.

Edit: ah doing some reading, Laguiole is a style not a brand. There's no made in stamp so I'm guessing made in china and not france lol. Oh well.

Lulu jacket x 3 though and maybe I'll finish Infinite Jest. Forgot to check the tights and shorts where I pulled the Lulus, dahmit.

I finished Infinite Jest on audiobook this winter and I’ve since been told half the fun of reading are the crazy endnotes, which are referenced but not read in the audiobook. It’s been on my radar to revisit the physical copy of this book. Nice find!

Ah yes! The end notes are essential (I was excited to see this copy had two bookmarks already in it; one for the novel and the other for the footnotes.). It's an interesting book, I think it's essentially about nothing and goes no where. But damn is David Foster Wallace a master at writing and that's what got me like 50% of the way through it, but I went traveling and didn't want to bring a brick around with me haha. Glad to have found it here.

Highlight of my thrifting day was seeing the stack of good books donated. I was working my way through the stack and a girl walks up and instantly takes three off the top stack I didn't get a chance to get to. Now I'm wondering what I missed!
