A. I would have picked this up.
B. It's not a home run though (unless this is one of those random one-off rarities that people seek out that I'm unfamiliar with) but all 80s skateboards will pull in some sort of decent return.

Any old skateboard with the huge bubble tail guard and nose rail (3rd pic) and the factory cut grip tape (4th pic) are tells that they were mass-produced for like K-Mart/Target and other toy stores. Again, totally awesome but not a huge home run. I bet you could get $50 for it; maybe up to $100 if you found the right buyer.

Quick and dirty snaps... One of many.

The local thrifts have gotten progressively better at identifying things. Quite grateful this label is inconspicuous.

True thrift.
Apologies for the **** pics—phone camera is going kaput. (The brown spots are actually from the lens—the shoes are in great shape in person!)

I’d go by the grip tape (and the graphics and shape, though that’s harder to define) for sure, but I wouldn’t discount anything just based on the nose rail or skid plate. Everyone made those. I never saw much difference in the the lower vs. higher priced stuff, either, except for the brand name that may or may not be there.

Manafort will get to keep the infamous couture items that prosecutors showcased during his trial. CNN’s Katelyn Polantz reports: “The FBI, in searching Manafort's home and other possessions, had taken photos of dozens of hangers full of custom House of Bijan and Alan Couture clothing, including animal skin outerwear that was worth thousands -- the python bomber worth $18,500, a camel hair sportcoat for $6,500, an ostrich track jacket at $15,000, an ostrich vest for $9,500. And the government and Manafort never agreed for him to hand over the menswear as part of his forfeiture.”

Those big bubble tailguards were never used on the "good" skateboards. They were exclusively on lower end stuff. Obviously someone might have put one of those on a better board but it's unlikely as they were too fat to be able to get any pop on your ollies.

These would be some of the tail guards that would usually signify a better deck. They were slimmer and usually a little closer to fitting the shape of the board's tail.
