Folks I'll be going to Rome next month. Any tips on thrift spots to hit (or is it all as good as I'm imagining) - I've never been before.

The hearts are all "Mercatini"...as you can see not too much in the centre. Keep an eye out for churches having little sales too; usually in the vestry as aside to the actual sanctuary itself. If you need any more details PM me.

The Porta Portese flea market in Trastevere on Sunday's is hit or miss but is a thrifters must see and do just beware of the teams of pick pockets, they are very good.

Today was a good contrast to my recent posts and a good example of "You don't always find grails all the time". I started out early and hit 5 stores, deep scanning and taking time at each.
