anyone else seen that show with that garbage pail kid that runs a vintage store? (Intentionally not including name). High schoolers are gonna be hitting the thrifts extra hard the next few months.

They usually roam in pairs, and are too busy gushing over items to properly clear a rack. Their youthful exuberance is their downfall.

Maybe updated H. Freeman & Son Philadelphia? Not related to Hickey Freeman, but havent seen anything from them that isnt at least 20 years old.

"If you find yourself in major city from time to time (conferences, visiting friends, etc.), make time to locate and visit charity shops and consignment stores. Putting in the time is the only way to find out which ones have *good sources* (key in consignment as in academe).

"By ‘good sources’ I mean, essentially, they routinely get castaway clothing from rich people who buy the new season every season and give away designer clothing in wearable condition. Once you find such places you can plan to shop there and find good things. But also..."

They are selvedge 501's. Not bad for personal if you want selvedge jeans, and people do like selvedge, but not a big ticket item.
