Trust me @impuntura I thought hard about it. I also don’t want to push my luck. The dude whose stuff this was is clearly a criminal and a meth head. I only went into the backyard yesterday because the owner of the property was there and said go ahead. He wasn’t there today and I’m not sure I want to risk getting shot at or stabbed or something, haha.

Hit a GW grand opening, Orlebar Brown, RRL, Triple Aught, Filson, Loewe, Sulka, all good to moderate stuff. They were so delayed in opening, they had stuff in there for weeks that was already in the discount color though it had never been in a store, so 50% off that, had a scratch off ticket for another 15% off. Receipt was a solid 36" long. Was interesting chatting w/ other local flippers- I'm usually a head down, run through a store type, but once the black Friday level cart stuffing was done a few of us just hung out chatting while hitting new stuff as it came out. So that was cool. Details when I sort it out.

Been super slow on the clothing front. I envy you guys so have stores that still put out tailored clothing. I’ve counted 4 of my semi regular stops that have axed their suits/blazers sections entirely over the past month or so.

Here’s some oddball stuff I found over the past week.

It’s no Martin, but I’ll take it. Old Wards Airline with the original box.

Yep. I bought a Huffy. Couldn’t leave it in this condition. Tires still have the nubs on them.

wait they didn't actually sell it to you for $1.49, right?

i was at a goodwill that USED to be decent. now it's pretty obvious everything is going out the back door to their online auction site.

there was one pair of decent burberry eyeglasses with their case, labeled for $4.99. the lady swiped it out of my hand and said "that's for online".

i said "what's the point of even having this store if you are only going to put garbage out on the shelves?"

she said "well, maybe we'll miss something".

i was fairly annoyed the rest of the day.

PS - that store has been nearly devoid of customers since many have "caught on". so i guess "let the invisible hand" do its job? no customers, lay off employees, close store, repeat.

it's probably how many of these stores are going to go. all they need is a donation station for either auctions or the outlet bins. what's the point of physical stores?

Love the picture and I will start looking for a frame. Anyone know what the writing may mean? No signature. Maybe the type of paint? Just looking for info.
Thanks.

Thank you. So nothing to do with the painting. Oh well, I still love the vibrant colors. Now I need to find a nice fitting frame. Luckily I love going to thrift stores!

It’s probably notes from a custom framer.
