Sure why not.
I stroll into this store at six pm.and this is hanging in the showcase clearly misspriced .
They tried to tell me it's supposed to be 149.99 but I said hey that's your problem it's priced and displayed so they had to give it to me .

Is this some sort of Canadian thing to honor the price as marked? In the States, most places would tell you to pay the real price or scram.

It's not Honor,it's the law.
Literally .
I was buying a laptop six months ago and I had the same thing happen at Staples .
A laptop was listed on sale for like three days (they forgot to remove the sign )
I honestly thought it was the price I didny look at the small print expiration date on the sign.
It rang up at a regular price and I pointed out the sign (it was behind a glass case so nobody could have tempered with it or put it there they simply forgot to remove it)
.
So the manager says he will do me a favour and honor it in a condescending tone ,and I said like **** you will do me a favour you will sell it to me for the price you displayed it at.
No favour ,simply a sale and I will do YOU a favour and won't complain to head office about it.
