It's a now-defunct offshoot of Johnson Woolen Mills, a Vermont-made woolen company. From what I gather, some famous (a relative term) hunting family in VT started it, making very well-thought-out and desirable hunting jackets. That epaulet at the shoulder for instance, is a spot to rest the barrel of your rifle, making it easier to lug around all day.

They later sold the company in 2011, I think, but it went out of business a few years later. Limited market (and pricing that would make Filson blush) did them in. Rare as hen's teeth, some old-timers still will pay up. I'm sure this will sit for a couple years...

Ok saw this at the church give away and I'm struggling to figure out the pricing online. Some are 100+ . And then likethree sold listings being six bucks. Is there a way to tell the value of this thing??

Pop for me. Klepper makes folding kayaks. This paddle is probably 60+ years old. I need to do a bit of research… I’m more excited about this than the Incotex, Patagucci, Brooks Range and Koflach stuff I found at the same shop.
