These are usually UK sizes. So I guess a 5.5 would be a 6.5 US? I know sometimes they use a french size but I'm not sure if its based on model or age of the shoe.

It's a uk/eu shoe width. I think F is normal width.

I feel like I've seen that "MHL." label inside of things recently and passed on them because my brain thought they were that cheap "MSX" brand that some sports guy is affiliated with. Dang. Will have to watch for that next time.
