I did not make it out thrifting today. But my 16 year old son apparently was, looking for Halloween stuff. I get a call..."Dad, is Canali a good suit brand? Harry Rosen, right?"

Nice to see he has been paying attention. I guess he's picking it up anyway, for Halloween...lol...but he did say it had Canali 1934 tags at least. It's days like this, you know they are listening, even if they aren't saying much. Ha.

It’s been a while since I posted last, but had to share this…
TWO navy Barbours. Same shop, 24€ each. Didn’t even check sizes, just bought.
The Bedale is like new and my size (and I’ve had an eBay saved search for months and never pulled the trigger), the Beaufort is what you’d call “perfectly worn-in” and too big so I’ll give it to a friend or flip it. Any tips for my first flip (or trades) if my friend decides not to take it?

Also some shirts for self. Took the WH as it has the most incredible enormous collar!

Since I’ve been out for a while, are there any EU/UK thrifters still around?

It's amazing how well shell comes back from the dead, huh? That's why I just love finding crusty moldy ass pairs... They always come back to life with brilliant hues, glossy finish and plenty of life left. Great job.

Thrift funded and semi-thrifted, and freaking awesome Spot Brand Longboard. I went into PIAS to get some skis. I got those, but also saw this belt drive single speed with Chris King (IYKYK) and Thompson bits.

Does the Chris king headset even work properly on a single speed if it isn’t installed upside down?

I don’t know, but the hubs are smooth. 😜
