Somewhere in the darkest corners of hippy communes lurk the humans who lust after used Teva sandals. There's something for everyone.

I bought a pair the other day. I just know better than to post them here. They are the best for fishing and walking along creeks.

Hey gang, been a while, but as the thread regulars know, I "thrifted" a thrift-funded manufactured home a few weeks back, so I've been focused 100% on getting that remodeled for the flip. Numbers are looking good, but I'll post the full story when it's done. Zero time for thrifting (or processing any kops), so I have been resisting even stopping in anywhere. Been working off my thrift imperative by picking up steal-deal remodeling stuff like appliances from auctions of HD/Lowes/Amazon returns.

Anyway, back to CM for a moment. A few months back, one of the local estate sale gals got a massive consignment of upscale menswear from the wife of a guy who passed. She would drip out 20-30 items at other sales she was doing, and I'd be going through a closet of Alfani and Stafford, and all of a sudden: whoah, Thom Browne! Talk about whiplash . . . Already got a bunch of gorgeous leather outerwear and TB shirts that I posted before and need to list before the season's over.

Well, I saw her estate sale arrow sign the other day on my way to HD, so I pulled over. She'd told me a month or two back that I'd already bought all the jackets and shirts etc, but I went in anyway. Not a damn thing to be found until I saw a pile of ties and Ts in a corner. First tie I turned over was a gray wool/cashmere Cuci bow tie. Game on! And then a matching neck tie. Same fabric.

And then a few Ts: Varvatos, Indian, r&b and Yohji.

And a cool, ancient Etro.

Not a bad little one-stop, and just 5 minutes out of my day! PPU: $2. Seeya in another few weeks.

Thanks for the confirmation
There are no other markings and the person I bought it from had it from her mother for ages and couldn’t tell me which mill it is from
It is soft but not super soft as the thicker fabric of a vicuna coat for instance
Mire line a ‘cool’ finish but one can tell how fine the fiber is

it is available by the way
An interesting pickup none the less. Any idea how many meters you found/acquired?

Moving soon so I'm trying not to accumulate too much stuff. Couldn't leave these two though.

Early 50s and mint

And my father's shearling coat. The hide is pretty dried out and it's got some stains. If someone wants a project piece, PM me. I don't have the time or space to give this the attention it deserves. It's marked as size 100 which I guess is somewhere around a 40R?
