8.5 UK is 9.5US

that could also be 9.5UK whichis roughly your length

Yeah, most likely English sizing and you’re measuring the outside length of the shoe which is going to be longer than the 26.6 cm foot measure for that size.

Hoping to get some help with a couple of recent finds...

Levi's Vest
Made in Mexico but this has a rough looking label that is sewn in much differently than other jackets I've found. Buttons are different and look vintage (stamped 104M on reverse... so appropriate for Mexico) plus it is a better grade of denim from what I can tell. I know this isn't a vintage piece but is it some kind of special edition?

Harris Tweed Sport Coat
Based upon what I can tell from the Harris and Bay Labels, this piece should date no more recent than early 1960s. Any opinions based on it style, cut etc. if this is more inline with late 1950s? Also what would you call this pattern... I want to call it parquet?
