i sold a almost identical watch (top) last night and then today I find another one (bottom) but this time with the original crown and hands and in much better shape

Speaking of DYI cover ups .
Drum dudes,i got this today for less then 60 bucks.Im a simple man i see vintage made in Japan instruments I buy.
Instinct told me there is something more to this and after I peeled back a bit I saw the glorious fleck .
My question is before I start peeling all this crap off is what do I have here more or less?
From the limited research inside is that this is a vintage transitional badge ?

Badge indicates 70’s I’m pretty sure. That badge is called the Y badge. Not sure about much else. Any serial numbers?
