I needed a bigger bag than the one I had on me to carry all my finds from that days thrifting adventure home. I grabbed this one out of a fresh bin for $6. It was in rough condition when I found it, but I came to like the design/color and shape of it, so I removed all the broken plastic pieces and gave it a good wash and now its pretty perfect. I need to snap an "after pic". No idea on the maker and theres no tags. Anyone have an idea?

This is either the second or third time I've found that Johnstons of Elgin scarf. Etro is an extra long in 80/20 cashmere/silk.

Older sterling cufflinks (stamped "Siam") with neat enamel front. Anybody here Thai and could explain the depiction?

It was mentioned last week that I like finding perfumes. My kids see my collection and love to smell everthing that I bring home. Anyway, I saw a Minions edt for €1 and grabbed it for them so they'd finally have something to put on. They know that I post pictures to "show those guys," and as I was going to work, my son said "You forgot to take a picture of this to show those guys!"

So, by request, here's their bottle of Minions edt. They put it on every morning. Three year old says "it smells like those lemon candies."

Nah, these are mostly from regular thrifts. I’ve actually only been to the bins a handful of times here.

It's fascinating how different instincts kick in during a dystopian scenario. Apparently, a lot of us will stock up on necessities and try to gain weight - ostensibly in an effort to forestall future shortages of food and asswipery. Others will drain their bank accounts and adorn themselves in ever more lavish splendour, probably designed to intimidate the smaller people and discourage intruders on their territory.

It's all different expressions of fatalism.

I forgot i picked this up the other day until i saw this post.

Mine isn't as nice and is a littel small but it only cost $3 so I thought "What the hell". I think I have a NATO strap kicking around that will fit
