Not bad you say eh....

In 2002, Tyskie Gronie won The Brewing Industry International Awards, receiving the two most prestigious awards - Gold Medal and Grand Prix.

In 2005 in Munich at a global beer fair hosted by Drink Tec, Tyskie again received the Grand Prix.

In 2011 Tyskie received the Gold Medal du Monde Selection – International Institute for Quality Selections

True, it's a good one. I sometimes wonder why it's always tucked away in a corner instead of being front-and-centre like the other imports. Maybe they're hiding the goodness?

I've come to the conclusion that people who drop off perfectly good/expensive things at thrift stores simply don't know any better. No chance they'd let something like expensive artwork go if they knew what it was.

I love that my shitpost started a beer debate. I’ve been out climbing for a few hours, out of cell reception.

Here’s mine from yesterday:

So they saved it for posterity.

It just matters how much it's worth. We have a lot of casino billionaires in Vegas who clear out their closet pretty regularly. They just don't have time to mess with things. So, I got a lot of their nice suits (with their name in it), but have never picked up a watch (which could still be tens of thousands, easily).

True, it probably depends on whether the thing is seen as valuable relative to that person. All the same, I don't understand getting rid of perfectly good things - unless they were bad/impulse purchases and not really part of that person's style. Not complaining though, since that's how we end up finding them.

Seems like the only menswear I find lately is from estate sales.
Pop on s & b.

Then hoping for an assist on these shoes. Guy had Gucci and similar for hundreds but they could not find a maker on these and I picked them up for $12. It seems like I should recognize the little asterisk type thing on the sole. Any ideas? Are these croc?
