Here's a weird one from the backlog. Are they women's, children's or men's? They're marked as 10 but a 5.5D US tree is a snug fit. Never seen anything sized on this sort of scale.

Edit: I know they're Santoni and I believe the Andrea Santoni signature insole indicates that they were made to order.

Sansui G-9700. This is a massive beast so I nicknamed it 'Tiny'.

Ok it's not an actual thrift but more like a rescue since I got it for free . I just wanted a little shine because I haven't found quality **** in over 2 weeks and really anything I have found has clearly been piddly **** :rotflmao:. With this acquisition I am now motivated to flip my current main receiver. I had previously stripped off the synthetic veneer (read: woodgrain contact paper) so I'm going to re-veneer it in real walnut before I list it and the proceeds will fund new thrift acquisitions.

Wow! Score!! That's one of the Holy Grail Sansuis.

I think the bottom part says “made by hand” in Italian. That’s Santonis top line. Very nice.

Sorry for the random question but do any of you know what the 28 means on the size tag. I thought it was a Women’s Italian 42 but seems smaller than that?

I've found the top number on those old Ittierre size tags often corresponds with the waist size in inches, even when the item is a jacket or shirt. 28 inches would make sense for an Italian 42 or a US 6, I think? Someone else probably has a better explanation...

Thanks Dadjeans, yes, I think it must be as I can’t find any other possible meaning.
