Some stuff . . .

Ladies' section: nah, it's not a Gary's, though it was no doubt sold there . . .

Clockwise from top left: Hanover PTB, unknown, C&J (interesting to see the name spelled out on the heel), minty Florrie LWBs.

$75 on CL. Had to tell the lady on the phone to consider it sold, and I was on my way. By the time I got there she'd been inundated with calls, including people offering her more, so she was happy with an extra $20. Phew. Not my pic. It's still in the car.

This one from an estate auction: $62. Ekornes "Manhattan" love seat in cocoa leather. Gorgeous.

These are so hot right now. Bought one 4 years ago for $50 at thrift, used it frequently, sold for $500 cash in 4 hours last month.

Yeah, in my experience the past few years, the Ekornes stuff gets more action (TWSS) than pretty much anything else I see in furniture. Flips in a blink for top $$, but highly sought after and hard to compete for. I drove 2+ hours for this one, over a twisty mountain pass. I should drop a speeded-up GoPro of that run sometime, which is also my Costco run, lol. Anyway, I just bought this to flip into one that's the right color for my own living room, so it'll go right back out.

While we're on the subject, here's my favorite Ekornes kop ever, that I wish I'd kept (it was a month I needed the money): not one but TWO Pegasus love seats in saddle. Bought at $350 and sold for 10x. Things of beauty.

I remember when you posted those. I wish I could say Ekornnnes sell super fast here, but I’m surrounded by cheapskates I guess. It took forever for me to sell my manhattttan sofa and chair. The stressssless chairs seem to do alright if priced low. Only one I had really decent luck with was a first gen metal frame one, and it still took a bit of coaxing for a sale to finalize. I’ve been tempted to rent a larger truck and do a pop up in a big city once the pandemic isn’t ruining stuff. Most of the stuff I list would sell pretty quickly at much better prices. Location location location.

Found this thick leather ottoman the other day. Can't figure out who made it, maybe an older Williams Sonoma or something. but its super nice with turned legs and solid brass hardware. It's perfectly distressed considering the dogs will probably claim it. Was marked $50, I had a 25% reward to redeem, and I earned a $10 coupon off my next purchase.....so $27.50.

^ Super nice. Reminds me of things that Drew Pritchard deals with - Victorian distressed leather things with brass casters.

Picked these 3 cheapos up over the last few weeks for $190 total.
They all sound pretty good after a full reset. Two of them were plastered with stickers and the other was covered in sticky dried beer (hopefully). I should have taken some before pics.

Each of them is 2 lbs lighter than my American Strat, so they are a bit easier on the back.

'99 Squier Affinity Strat SSS (Cort)
'04 Ibanez Double Cutaway HH
'95 Washburn Lyon HSS (made in Korea (with the 'lawsuit' sticker still intact), right before production moved to China and got more meh)
