Nice pickup - Shell is easy. Get some shoe trees, cordovan cream or Venetian shoe cream and a horse hair brush. Throw the trees in. Wipe them down with a damp rag. Apply some cordovan cream or Venetian shoe cream and let them sit for like 10-20 minutes. Brush the ever living **** out of them with your new horsehair brush until you hit whatever level of shine you want. Depending how long they’ve been sitting and how dry they feel you can throw some (a little) conditioner on the interior liner to make sure it isn’t super dried out.Recently picked up a pair of Alden 987 Shell Cordovan loafers in my size for $10. They're my first pair of actual good leather shoes — any care / maintenance tips to get them looking nice are welcome! View attachment 1608095 View attachment 1608096 View attachment 1608097
