Finds from this / last week. All available unless mentioned otherwise. Need help with the lee jacket, not sure when it was made. Simple google search revealed that its from the 60s 70s but it looks in a too good of a shape to be that old.

bespoke DB, slightly tight so I’m taking it to a tailor to see what they can do. Stone mint but no maker tags anywhere.

Hickey Freeman makes beautiful suits in Rochester, NY.

what I do not know, butwould love to find out, is whether the Hickey Freeman suits for sale at places like Nordstrom Rack and Saks Off Fifth are the same quality as the Hickey Freeman suits for sale at Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. If they are, wonderful! But I don’t know enough about the brand to be able to tell whether they have different quality lines in the way Ralph Lauren, etc. do.

try saks off 5th if you need a new suit. i've seen USA made HF for $350USD before.

Anyone familiar with Hickey Freeman and where they make suits nowadays? Nordstrom Rack has suits for $650CAD and is that a good deal?

@Purplelabel that suit’s ace

some recent meagre finds - all ebay as I’ve not been in a charity shop for over a year now. Considering a visit tomorrow though.

^Agreed on that. Love those shops. Donors tend to give them their best stuff . . .

Meanwhile, my attempts to lay off thrifting while I get caught up have, of course, failed. I'd be fine if I didn't go in to the local GW, but it's in the same parking lot as my grocery store, so it's generally just a quick loop through the new racks. All this (besides the shoes) came yesterday from one fresh rack, certainly one donor, small guy stuff that reeks of cologne. And I even left some . . .

S/S skeets, ready for summer, one NWT, plus as nice a Ted Baker as I've seen.

Vilbrequin, and what looked like a pair of worthless Florrie pennies at a random yard sale I passed. "Five bucks", he said: "includes those wood things".

Sure . . . minty Santonis.

The weird thing is that this is a really small town, where you see the same locals out and about every day amongst the tourists, and I've never seen anyone who's trying to rock RG. Go figure.

That would at least explain why they were minty.
