Couple things, TB need some stain removal but I rarely find Thom. Are the Yeezys fake? They were $4 and with the Celine and Moonstar so I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Yesterday I decided to flip the Bluetooth Harman Kardon Soundsticks that are my current computer speakers and today I bounced up on a set of $12 powered Sony SA-N1 speakers. The Lord works in mysterious ways

20210414_145633.jpg

They look a lot better than the picture suggests: grey with blue grill cloth

Speakerman is back baby!

Edit: While the filthy grills are soaking, I cleaned up the boxes and hooked them up. Great soundstage and more than enough power for...well... anything. Yes they don't have the bass of the soundsticks but the tradeoff is that I don't have that barrel jellyfish-like subwoofer living under my desk anymore

Edit²: OK the rest of the mini system (Sony HCD-T1) consisted of a tuner, cd player and a separate cassette deck sans remote was there but for some reason the speakers were priced separately. Good thing because I didn't need the rest of that crap. Mr. Google has informed me that it seems to be very popular in Asia tho

Do the Chrono functions actually work on that watch that's the first tell.like do they time, some fakes just jump forward a few mm when pressed some don't do anything at all.
Secondly unscrew those 4 small screws and let's see the movement .

Here’s under the hood. I think the battery is dead so gotta grab a new one. Either that or it’s so fake that it doesn’t even tell time

Been a bit, once again. Just wrapping up the backlog, so now I have the remaining 524 (today's count) items photographed and packed, and waiting to be listed. Agh. But at least I'm caught up finally after about two years of bedlam. So my thrifting has been limited to the three stores in my little town, all within 3 minutes of each other, and the findings are more limited than when I hit the big city to the south. Still ain't complaining . . .

First up, vintage Hawaiian goodness. Building a new collection for the summer, vtg HI only.

Vtg MiUSA tees. Google image search isn't bringing the this one up, so anyone recognize the medicine man image? EMI 1991. Seems like something I should know, but it ain't coming to me. Album? Movie? Just graphic art?

I like T-shirts with cool artwork. Anyone guess the brand? Nah, ridiculous question . . .

Mikhail Baryshnikov. I had no idea he used to have a clothing line.

Awesome 2002 TNF Mountain Light GoreTex parka complete with the classic Denali liner, that can be zipped out and worn on its own. Eleven bucks minus old fart discount. These things flip great. And a very vintag-ey TNF polo.

Shoes: a pair of minty AE Bradley, plus some funky distressed 'Gamo nubuck derbies with rubber soles that are super comfy, so I may just hang on to them as knockabout shoes.

And finally, these odd Yves St. Laurent Italian-made suede kilties. 70s maybe? I'll post on the vintage shoe thread too.
