I didn’t thrift today, but spent the last day off work (4 months off) in the country eating good food and now the pubs are open again, a few pints.

Back to work tomorrow so hopefully will be able to hunt some more!

Absolute grail for me today. This is an EBay score; I’ve had a saved searched for years trying to find a shirt from the Phoenix Bouldering Contest. As an added bonus, this one is Patagonia, and in mint condition (like not even washed or worn mint). I went to the PBC every year it was held from 1997 2004.

Anyway, this was posted with a BINOBO price, but I just paid the whole amount so I wouldn’t miss out.

This sure brings back great memories of camping and climbing in the desert...

Something is wrong with me. I haven't been able to find anything lately that I want to cop

I saw a Pentax ME SLR that I left because it was too close to retail price. Ok I actually told myself, "Self? You said that you wanted a simple rangefinder camera. You might not find a Leica iiif or a M2 but you might stumble across a Japanese Leica aka a Canon P

So I left it

I found a couple lenses for cheap

A 3 head Denon cassette deck which should have been no brainer for me

Speakers are supposed to be my krytonite but after realizing that I have found my long term keeper speakers I am not feeling inspired


I found some Peavey Criterions

but the asking price was $250 so they were a hard pass

I found a pair of $15 Advent Baby IIIs w/walnut tops and bottoms today.

I put them back on the shelf



I even found a nice denim jacket that might move quickly in some circles

Is this a previously undiagnosed Moderna side effect? Hmmm...

Man just found my stash of pokemon cards from when I was a kid gonna spend some days figuring out the value of some cards lol. Anyone have any good resources on this stuff? Was just gonna look around ebay and see what the prices are.
