i barely know what depop is. isn't it like posmark, but kids model their own crap for attention?

Seen this happening on some of the stuff I have saved searches for on eBay. I probably sound like a boomer, but it is a bit sordid....

Ethrift on a pair of Danner Mountain Pass boots. I’m liking them so far. All three Patagonia items visible were ethrifts as well. The kid countered all money saving efforts...

Very dry here in Dallas.

We are heading to Santa Fe in about three weeks for a long weekend. Anyone ever thrifted there? Doubt I will have much time between looking at art and eating but pm me if you know where I can't miss. Also for those that know, we will be hitting all the main touristy art gallery areas. Anything special I should know please pm me.
Thank you

Not to clog up the thread, but don't know where else to ask this: anybody ever try / have success doing an oxiclean soak on a 100% cotton blazer?
I have a coat that can use a cleaning, just worried about it getting misshapen if I give it a soak

(If anybody has done this, maybe PM instead of discussing here. Please ?)

Why don't you use Dryel or bring it to a dry cleaner?

I've done it with RLPL 100% linen, soaked and actually ran it through the washer on handwash. Did some hand steaming to get it back to shape, then took it to the cleaners to be pressed. Worked perfectly.

Because i'm being cheap since it's a thrifted jacket that i'm probably not keeping, so i'm trying to keep cost low

Goddammit @SimonC making my fodder look even more foddery. I got out! Queuing for charity shops was a new experience I must say. Seems a lot of people here missed the thrill of the hunt too. Was so nice being back!

Now for the fodder...

I didn’t thrift today, but spent the last day off work (4 months off) in the country eating good food and now the pubs are open again, a few pints.

Back to work tomorrow so hopefully will be able to hunt some more!

beer never tasted so good.
