Great finds, y'all! Just been dealing with a condo flood from the unit above me so it's been hectic and stressful for me but nothing wrong with a cannoli thriftening. This is probably a holding play as I don't think it'll sell out anytime soon.

****** (likely computer-generated) translation from a French article but long-story-short: Haitian diplomat claims his storage locker in Montreal was wrongfully auctioned off.

The buyer doesn't have the ~95k worth of clothing and shoes anymore and claims they never took possession of the watches and jewelry. The article isn't exactly clear but seems to me to suggest the clothes might have been donated.

@Ken P, @lfd75 and anyone else who thrifts Mtl care to go for a drive and report back?

:lurk:

I'd just be happy with one of the cases of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Here's the original article for the francophones among us:

Yeah **** that lady who owned the locker.
Her people are starving and she's hiding rolexes and 14K bottles of swill in storage ?
Haiti is one of the most corrupt countries in the world probably want her stuff to begin with .
