Well bad news so far. I just heard back from
Christopher Maurer
Professor of Spanish
Department of Romance Studies
Boston University
By the way thank you atljon for that connection.
He advised that they are fakes. Of course will hope to hear back from Swann galleries but he seemed pretty knowledgeable. So, a fun adventure for a day but most likely going to end up with my daughter who is an art lover.
Still, that got the blood pumping pretty good and for just a minute I thought I might have found something spectacular and valuable. Was still a good week as I found these at an estate sale for $40.

And this cool 60 year old Bartoli.

And finally this barely used mixer with box for $35.

If I hear anything different on the sketches you will all be the first to know.

Brioni down coat with cashmere, some leather details and fur trim. Super crappy phone photos, but might be the most valuable item I´ve ever found. Too big for me, gave it to my old man, that´s how we keep the Brioni all up in the family.

Powers on so should be worth a chance for $10.

Lockdown means going through the backlog and channeling the spirit of @noob in 89 and his brilliant B&S listings of yesteryear on our local classifieds.

FYI, the Brier is our men's national curling championship up here.

Description:

Holy frickin smokes! What a beauty! The '91 Labatt Brier was held right here in the Hammer at Copps Coliseum (back when it it was actually called Copps) and this sweatshirt was there! Back then, you knew an event was important if a big beer or tobacco company had the naming rights and oh baby, was Labatt ever a big deal.

Pair it with nerd glasses, an out-of-control pandemic neckbeard and some stone wash denim so that everyone knows just how frickin' cool you are. Can you think of anything that delivers a higher level of hipster irony than sipping on a limited-edition hand-crafted local microbrew while wearing a sweatshirt with LABATT plastered on the front? Next level stuff, my friend.

Or if you're over 40 and have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, just wear it to your first post-pandemic bonspiel. Either way, this just may be the best thing you ever use to cover your nipples.

Get it before it's gone. Or don't. I'm not your father.

Just, whatever you do, don't spill any damn Molson on it.

Geez, been a bit. 11 days since last post, so I better do something to keep it rolling: this is all from the local GW in the past few days . . . They have taken to rolling out new racks and just leaving them there, so I go in every day, hit those racks, and leave. It's not like some of you have reported elsewhere, with racks being stormed by flippers. No-one here seems to GAF, so I guess they're letting us cherry-pick the racks so they have less to put out. Works for me . . .
