I lived in Germany in the early eighties when I was a preteen and Playmobil was the thing to have .
I still see lots of it at the fleamarkets when I go back to Dortmund for a visit.
Their outdoor fleamarkets or swapmeets for you yanks are incredible .especially the big ones in Berlin and Hamburg ,I would rather go to those then a thrift store anytime.
If you guys travel there definitely check them out.

i was gonna go when I was there but they only happen on specific days and I had to catch a flight home! Siggghhh

Yeah this would have been 84 or 85 ,the big one in the centre .

I don’t believe so. Retail seems to be roughly the same in either case, is Saarinen the original?

@rokor the tulip style in general is attributed to Saarinen but name brand designer such as HM is still a valuable and great pickup!
