Depend on the piece I suppose. Theres a lot of tragic Harris Tweed out there too. Its a fantastic fabric and I was the same way until I decided to try wearing it. Now my favorite piece is my Blackwatch Harris Tweed. Is Harris Tweed worth grabbing? I've passed on a virtual mountain of it. I don't want to wear it, don't know who would. I don't have an ebay store, no idea if it moves.

So ... just shipped my thriftmas gift insanely early. Happy Thriftsgiving, I guess?
TWSSSOMEBODY GOT A PACKAGE TODAY
I still kop every "branded" Harris Tweed I find. The better brands make bank (PRL and others), but even the no-name items flip fast, if cheaper. Boxy ones to the trad guys, the others to hipsters and the like. Overcoats do great, 2-3 piece suits go fast. In my experience. YMMV, of course. Occasional rarities (capes etc) are instaflip. Is Harris Tweed worth grabbing? I've passed on a virtual mountain of it. I don't want to wear it, don't know who would. Made a couple (very disappointing) stops today just in case...
I must admit I have no idea. You guys always post insane finds so I didn't think mine would stand output! But here I am and I'm happy to be here! Also under the coat is a Zegna Trofeo suit and a pair of Florsheim 93602's.
I completely understand. I find insane deals (for me) but when I go to poast my great finds, all I see is Brioni this, Hermes that, sterling silver & 14k gold Tiffany buttons, etc.
For example:
Me: Look at this brand new box of fancy wine stoppers $5.00 at my local thrift. They look expensive. Oh sh!t - they are going to $40 on Amazon. Hot Damn Rumples, you dun hit it big my boy!!! I should take pics and poast in the Official Discount Bragging Thread...
random poaster: "So I stumbled on a case of absinthe that was recovered from HMS Excelsior which was lost in the Bermuda Triangle in the late 1750s..."
Me: <delete> <delete> <delete>
99.99999% of the time I just keep my "great" (read: piddly bvllsh!t) finds to myself and just try to figure out which areas these lucky bastards live
