Hello Hive Mind!
I just want confirmation that I am not looking at a pair of shell cordovan shoes. The shoe is one of four C&J sold as a(n) (insert collective noun here). I have seen other C&J shoes that has the text leather upper/lining while being genuine shell cordovan. The pictures were taken but the auction house so maybe not the best ones, but those are creases, not "rolls" right? I have never seen a pair of used cordovan shoes in the flesh so unsure to what those rolls actually look and feel like. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys. I’m posting with a very heavy heart as I lost my dad yesterday early morning to a completely sudden heart attack. He was only 58 years old and I thought I was going to have more time for him to see me become more successful and hopefully start my own family. I am going through all the emotions I have right now and just can’t sleep at all. I know we don’t control these things in life and it’s not really possible to make sense of it all. I just thought I’d make a post because even though you guys don’t know it. This thread and the individuals in it have meant a lot to my life.
So sorry, man... You and I will share that day every year. It was on that same day 4 years ago that I lost my father, my hero. I still think of him every day. You'll be surprised when you realize how much his memories sustain you. You'll remember advice he gave you that you have forgotten. Reach out if you need to. Don't ever think that you have to do this solo.

Hey man, so sorry to hear, sincerest condolences. I'm losing my dad in a different way to dementia/Alzheimers. I love my dad so much but I go back and forth whether its better to go suddenly rather than gradually. Regardless, they're both painful. Only thing we can do is live everyday like it could be our last one and tell and show those closest to us how much we love them while we can. My prayers are with you and your family.

One question though, how do you pronounce Cucinelli?

It just looks so right as a full fit, but pants are about a size and a half too big so if I keep them I’ll have to get them tailored.

(for pronunciation) Coo-chi-nell-ee, from what I understand.

And-or: $$$

I don't have a lot of disposable income but I have wanted a pair of Dent's made in England gloves for about 2 years. Specifically the Lumley rabbit fur lined ones in dark brown.

Last night, I found them after many, many searches over a long time on Ebay for £80 NWT in my size. Too much for me, so without any hope I put in an offer for £50. Miraculously it got accepted and they're now on the way.

This is a fake, correct? @SpooPoker and anyone else who knows more than me (errybody). Liner isn’t removable, tags seem off, there’s literally a random tag in one sleeve, quality seemed pretty decent but it reeked of higher quality counterfeit, priced as the real deal unfortunately. Took it up with management so they pulled it to research it more, but figured I’d ask to be sure.

My deepest condolences man. None of us may have ever met in person, but you've got people here for whatever support we can give you. So incredibly sorry.

@Nobilis Animus Thanks a lot. Impuntura said the same thing when I asked him a long while back but for some reason I had it stuck in my head that it was Su-si-nelli.
