Boosting again, anyone remember his username? I have like half a dozen pieces still on consignment with him and can't get in contact.
Emailed him a couple weeks ago. No reply. Starting to get fed up.

This is one of the weirder things I’ve found in a thrift store. Having worked with similar composites while at college definitely gave me the unfair advantage of knowing what it was already, ha. The 3rd pic shows what application this is made for. I don’t even want to guess what retail is on just this piece, but easily a few thousand but very likely much more.
Now I need to figure out what I’m going to use it for. It’s over 6’ tall. Might chop it in half and make a dope pedestal table or pedestal end tables.

Hey all, popping in after a long haitus. I'm in grad school now and don't really thrift anymore.

I'm wondering if something happened to our member who runs 1luxoticthread on ebay. I haven't been able to get in touch over email or ebay message and I'm a little worried.

snoogz messaged me and said he’s sorry for the lack of communications the last few weeks he’s been helping friends and family with fires. He’s safe though.

Will someone please slap me back to reality or confirm what I've just found. Quick research would date this between 1928 (when the pocket got a flap) and 1936 (when the red tab was added). There doesn't look to be any damage under the patches and they look like they could be easily removed. Any Levi's experts? @Stewie @double00

Never thought I'd find this brand in the UK, let alone a small rural Somerset charity shop. Pop on Filson! Paid up at £34.99.

A quick google suggests that it's a 'Filson Mackinaw Cruiser Jacket Virgin Wool Grey and Black Plaid ' (Size XXL).

Apologies for the crappy photos!
