A good date code for that would be
VI 1909.
It looks as though it's real to me if that date code is good. Everything is as it should be. If it is it's a tagia wallet made in France in October of 1999. That line started in 1994 so that's a good sign.
Yeah that's what it is.thanks

Sorry, I’ve been busy, so I will respond to all PMs either tomorrow or Monday morning.

If you’d like to sign up for the gift exchange, just send me a PM that says that you’re in this year!

Live, and with a story. Hello, Mr Sea Turtle!
32C351BF-D0A6-4100-9B8A-608F9DB73324.jpeg

So I went to an antique store in a nearby town to unload those flats of kachinas I bought at auction a couple weeks back. Did 3-4x which was fine for a bulk flip. On the way out, I just caught a glimpse of some dusty boots under a cabinet. Turned out to be this pair. Instakop for a song, and then he gave me a discount for being local. Almost theft. Dusted them off and gave them a quick coat of Lexol, that I keep in the car for the seats, which is why they look mottled, but they will rock when finished.

By the way, gang, I’ve been looking for sea turtle boots in my size (10.5-11) for years, so if any of you have any in backlog . . .

I see a decent amount of cowboy boots at the thrifts. USA made Dan Post, Justin, Tony Llama, Frye. I've only seen Luchesse 2000 (that's their lower line, right?). Some with wood pegged soles.

And probably a bunch of custom jobs I know nothing about. don't think I've seen any exotic skins, except snake.

I think some of them are gorgeous, but I know I am not qualified to rock them. If I ever saw a non trashed pair at the bins, I might go for it.

Dropped into the local thrift on my way to drop off packages.

Beethover/Mozart lamp base. Looks like 1950s from the wall plug.

Guess the maker? Longwings, and two clues: MiUSA and I have never kopped this brand before. Answer under the spoiler below.

Yep, you bet I've never kopped this brand before, But ten bucks for NOS longwings? Sure, I think I'll get my investment back.

Frickin' Stafford, FFS. Anyone know who made these?

And then, just to encourage more time-wasting, one of these . . . I bet it had just come out, or it would have been gone . . . TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3. Tempted to keep, but will probably get realistic and flip.

Hey all, popping in after a long haitus. I'm in grad school now and don't really thrift anymore.

I'm wondering if something happened to our member who runs 1luxoticthread on ebay. I haven't been able to get in touch over email or ebay message and I'm a little worried.
